RV Has Shore Power but No 12V Power

Shore power can supply 120V outlets while the 12V side still fails. Battery disconnects, fuses, breakers, wiring, and converters can be involved.

What might be happening?

Shore power can supply 120V outlets while the 12V side still fails. Battery disconnects, fuses, breakers, wiring, and converters can be involved.

What to check or record before calling

Record whether 120V outlets work, battery voltage if you can measure it safely, and whether all 12V devices are affected.

Write down the RV year and model, the affected component's make and model, any error codes, and when the symptoms first began. Clear photos help when it is safe to take them.

Safety: Do not bridge fuses or remove electrical covers while energized. If a situation feels unsafe, stop using the affected equipment and seek qualified help.
