Repair terms, customer rights, statewide dispatch standards, privacy practices, MRR Gear and education disclosures are gathered in one place.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 01
Customer information and policy scope
This Legal & Policy Center explains the way Michigan RV Repair (MRR) approaches requests for mobile repair services, custom work, statewide coordination, online inquiries, educational content, and external merchandise sales. It should be read together with the specific written estimate, work order, invoice, warranty (if any), and third-party provider terms for a transaction.
MRR is a mobile service business, not a public walk-in repair storefront. References to statewide coordination describe a service model under development; they are not a guarantee of immediate coverage in every Michigan county.

Services, service areas and statewide requests
Requests may involve RV inspections, roof and sealant work, water systems, electrical troubleshooting, appliances, slide-outs, heating and cooling, preventive maintenance, and eligible custom fabrication or interior work. Actual availability depends on RV type, project scope, technician skills, necessary authorizations, weather, travel distance and scheduling.
- Submitting a website request is not a confirmed appointment, binding price quotation, or repair authorization.
- MRR reviews the location and project before accepting a job; statewide coordination does not establish a physical service center at every location.
- Repair work involving regulated categories will only be assigned where required authorizations, registrations and credentials apply.
- Delivery of services at campgrounds, storage sites, private property and commercial locations may require additional location permission.
See the service areas and statewide dispatch and partner standards.

Written estimates and additional work
For transactions governed by Michigan's Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act, MRR will provide a written estimate when the cost of diagnosis, service, or repair is $50 or more, unless a legally valid estimate waiver applies. Estimates should identify expected parts, labor, hours, fees, and any relevant diagnostic/disassembly or reassembly charges.
When that Act applies, additional charges above the estimate by more than $50 or 10%, whichever is less, require additional customer authorization before the extra work is performed. Customers may require approval for any amount above an estimate. Authorizations and changes should be documented in the work-order record.
A photograph-based preliminary response is not a substitute for an on-site diagnosis or required written estimate. If a condition changes during the repair, MRR will explain the changed scope and obtain the applicable approval before proceeding.

Pricing, taxes, deposits and payment
Labor, diagnostic, travel, emergency and parts charges are identified on Services & Rates and, when applicable, the customer's written estimate. The individual approved estimate or written agreement identifies which charges actually apply; website examples do not override an accepted transaction-specific quote.
MRR may request an advance deposit for specially ordered materials or scheduled work when the amount, application, and any lawful cancellation treatment are clearly disclosed before payment. A deposit is not automatically nonrefundable. Where a refund or rescission right is required by law, that right is preserved.
Applicable Michigan sales tax may apply to tangible parts or other taxable transactions. Taxes and payment-provider terms are disclosed as appropriate. Customers should not email credit card numbers; use the approved secure payment method provided for the job.
Unpaid accounts may be addressed through lawful invoicing and collection procedures. MRR does not claim that website terms create an automatic mechanic's lien, title interest, or right to seize an RV.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 06
Appointments, travel and cancellations
Service dates and arrival windows are agreed to after the request is reviewed. Weather, road conditions, travel distances, parts availability, location access and safety may affect scheduling. No 24-hour or emergency arrival guarantee is made unless individually confirmed.
If a visit is canceled or rescheduled, MRR will apply only fees disclosed in the estimate or appointment confirmation and permitted by law. Any work already performed or specially ordered products will be itemized as applicable. Customers should contact MRR promptly to change an appointment.
For on-site services arranged at a home, campground or other off-premises location, additional statutory cancellation requirements may apply depending on how the transaction was solicited and concluded. MRR will provide any legally required cancellation notice before a qualifying transaction.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 07
Parts, replaced components, invoices and warranty terms
A final invoice should itemize work completed, approved changes, parts supplied, actual charges, and other information required by applicable law. Customers may have legal rights to request replaced parts, subject to statutory exceptions and reasonable advance notification procedures.
MRR does not promise an unspecified lifetime, unconditional, or manufacturer warranty. Any MRR workmanship warranty must be issued in writing for the specific job and describe its duration, covered work, exclusions and claim process. Manufacturer warranties, if any, are governed by the issuing manufacturer and may require separate claims.
If a repair does not resolve a reported symptom, contact MRR with the invoice and diagnostic details so the work can be reviewed. Statutory customer rights and remedies remain available regardless of website wording.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 08
Hazards, limitations and custom fabrication
Customers should not operate or occupy an RV when there is suspected propane leakage, carbon-monoxide exposure, smoke, active electrical arcing, fire, or other immediate danger. Leave the area and contact emergency services when appropriate; do not rely on this website for emergency response.
Custom 3D-printed components, weld repairs, cabinetry modifications and re-created vintage parts are evaluated on an individual basis. Prototypes, decorative parts and nonstructural components may not be suitable for structural, braking, steering, towing, occupant-restraint, gas containment, electrical protection or other safety-critical applications. MRR will not represent a prototype as OEM-approved or safety-certified without documentation.
Specialized work involving refrigerants, vehicle mechanical systems, electrical systems, or regulated trades may require additional credentials, certified technicians, specialized equipment or referral.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 09
Insurance, warranty administrators and third-party access
If repairs are potentially covered by an insurer or service contract, the customer remains responsible for obtaining any necessary claim approvals and understanding deductibles or excluded charges unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. An insurer's willingness to pay does not replace customer authorization for work.
MRR does not guarantee a claim will be accepted or that a manufacturer's warranty will remain unaffected by a repair. Work on a leased, rented or third-party-owned RV may require approval from the actual owner, manager or contract holder.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 10
Statewide service coordination and independent providers
For requests outside the normal local service area, MRR may assess feasibility, coordinate a referral, or propose a qualified independent provider. Customers will be told who is responsible for the work, the estimate, the invoice and service follow-up before authorizing service.
MRR should verify applicable facility registration, mechanic qualifications, insurance and service scope before using an outside provider. A third-party technician is not automatically an MRR employee or part of an approved network. No claim of an existing statewide licensed technician network is made here.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 11
Customer information, photo submissions and privacy
Website inquiries may request a name, telephone number, email address, RV type, location, service concerns and photographs. Information is used to assess requests, contact customers, prepare estimates and manage authorized services. MRR's photo-based request form currently submits through FormSubmit; the Pillar customer portal, payment providers and Etsy operate under their own service and privacy terms.
Marketing email or texts require a separate lawful basis; an inquiry about service does not grant unlimited consent to unrelated promotional campaigns. Customer and property photographs are not automatically licensed for advertising simply because they were submitted for diagnostic purposes.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 12
Public reviews, advertising and customer communications
MRR welcomes genuine feedback and does not contractually prohibit honest reviews. Reviews should reflect actual experiences. MRR will not condition benefits on positive ratings or purchase fabricated reviews.
Transactional messages concerning quotes, scheduling, billing and repairs may be sent through the channels provided by the customer. Promotional email or text messages, if offered, are governed by applicable marketing and opt-out requirements.

MRR Gear and third-party merchandise storefronts
The MRR Gear section links customers to MRR's Etsy storefront. Orders placed on Etsy are subject to the displayed Etsy shop listing, Etsy checkout, production-partner policies, shipping estimates and applicable marketplace rules. Merchandise refunds and returns are handled under the specific posted listing and relevant consumer laws.
Browsing MRR's service website does not place a merchandise order. No custom MRR checkout or print-on-demand fulfillment is represented as active on this website merely because merchandise imagery is displayed.
MRR POLICY CENTER · 14
MRR University education, credentials and proposed credits
The MRR University section currently presents RV education resources and proposed course and credit structures for institutional consideration. The four-semester pathway advertises 20 proposed credits; these are not college credits actually awarded, transferable credits, or an RVTI credential.
MRR does not represent these materials as state-approved, institutionally accredited, endorsed by GRCC, endorsed by RVTI, or qualifying students to sit an external certification examination without the certifying body's separate requirements. No claim is made that completion leads to employment, licensure, degree, academic credit or certification.
Before MRR offers paid vocational enrollment, it must determine and obtain applicable Michigan proprietary-school authorizations and establish written enrollment, cancellation, refund, transcript, academic-integrity and complaint policies. See the education and credential disclosure.

Contact, complaints, accessibility and changes
Questions about a repair, invoice, warranty or service experience should be sent to service@michigan-rv-repair.com or made by telephone at 616-290-3592. Please include the work-order or invoice number, date, RV identification and a clear description of the concern, without sending card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Nothing on this page requires a customer to surrender the right to contact Michigan regulators, pursue lawful remedies, or post honest reviews. We seek to make our website reasonably accessible; visitors who need assistance can use the same contact information. See Accessibility.
