MICHIGAN RV REPAIR · CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Statewide Mobile Service Standards
Clear expectations for service requests beyond West Michigan and for independent service providers.
Updated November 1, 2026 · MichiganHow statewide service coordination works
Michigan RV Repair is based in West Michigan and may review requests from other parts of Michigan. A statewide inquiry process is not a promise that MRR has licensed employees, trucks, physical shops, or immediately available appointments in every county. Service must be confirmed for the particular location and scope.
Outside technicians and partner shops
Where a subcontractor or referral partner is proposed, MRR should review any applicable Michigan repair-facility registration, mechanic certification, liability coverage, commercial auto coverage, qualifications for the specific work, and the provider's written customer service terms. A provider should not be marketed as approved until that review is complete.
The customer should know which company contracts for the work, who invoices, whose warranty applies and whom to contact about defects before any services are authorized. Independent business relationships are not transformed into employment or shared insurance by website language.
Site access, hazard and dispatch requirements
- Obtain permission to enter campgrounds, private driveways, storage lots and fleet facilities.
- Assess safe access, stabilizers, electrical isolation, propane hazards, weather and environmental controls.
- Disclose site-specific travel charges or cancellation fees before customers approve the work.
- Document any safety-critical work outside the provider's authorized scope and refer to properly qualified personnel.
- For recurring commercial or fleet agreements, use a separate signed master service agreement specifying approved purchasers, price schedules, service levels and insurance responsibilities.
Michigan regulatory references
Michigan's repair facility guidance covers compensation-based vehicle service, including relevant recreational vehicles and trailers. Mobile operations may still require a registered established business location and local zoning or municipal approval. Requirements for mechanic credentials vary by category of repair.
MRR should verify its own registrations and any partner's credentials directly; this page does not display an unverified license number or claim statewide regulatory authorization.
